With RB Leipzig winning their latest game this week, Bayern Munich have only one point separating them from second place. A win will be crucial against Stuttgart, who’ve been in good form this season under American coach Pellegrino Matarazzo.
This could be a rare game where Joshua Kimmich has to be rested, possibly leading to some interesting lineup selection from Hansi Flick. With the defense as shaky as it is, he’ll want at least some sort of midfield to cover for it when Stuttgart have the ball. How that’ll work is anyone’s guess. All we know is, the three points are absolutely crucial this week. Especially since we break for an international break right after.
