We can add Hamburger SV striker Simon Terodde to the list of players who think Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski is the most lethal scorer in the world.

In speaking with Redaktionsnetzwerk Deutschland (as captured by Abendzeitung), Terodde, who is no slouch himself, touched on why Lewandowski is so good and why he ranks at the top of the list.

“Right at the top,” Terrode said when asked where how he views Lewandowski. “When you see the way he takes part in the game and the way the ball sticks to his foot — you don’t see any technical errors anymore. You can attack him in front, but the ball still sticks to his foot. Sometimes I have the feeling that it is like on the Playstation — you simply press a button and then the pass comes and is handled.”

Terrode’s appreciation of Lewandowski comes just a week after Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland admitted that he watches Lewandowski and his Bayern Munich mates. Haaland said Lewandowski is “just crazy.”
