Bayern Munich wing Leroy Sané touched on a number of topics ahead of his team’s Champions League match against Lazio, including a brief comparison of Hansi Flick and Pep Guardiola and a quick stiff-arm of a question on Flick taking over the Bundestrainer role.
As for how Flick and Guardiola match-up, Sané indicated that each manager has a distinct style, but in the end are fighting for victories.

“They are different, but both want you to dominate the game,” said Sané (per Tz). “The goal is always to bring your own strengths through.”
When the questioning shifted to Germany’s upcoming slate of games and Joachim Löw’s impending exit, Sané downplayed any worry over the workload and dismissed any concern over Flick jumping into Löw’s position.
“We all know that the schedule is tough. But I come from the English league. Such a rhythm is almost normal. But now we have the Champions League and also Stuttgart this weekend is important. We are concentrating on that,” Sané said. “I haven’t talked to my Bayern colleagues about whether Hansi will be the national coach. Let others discuss that. We players are focused on Bayern.”
