Der Ausblick — Bayern Munich vs. Hertha Berlin (Rückrunde)

In a very special episode of Der Ausblick, we preview the Bundesliga match between Bayern Munich vs. Hertha Berlin.

For Bayern Munich, the “getaway game” against Die Alte Dame should be a nice tune-up for the Club World Cup. For Hertha Berlin, however, a cure for its misery might not be in sight...at least not this week.

Also, we’ve got an awesome FC Bayern fan song from the Munich-based indie band Pine Tree Garden, who were named “Band of the Week” by Süddeutsche Zeitung back in September of 2020.

We’ll have a brief interview with the band in the Weekend Warm-up later today as well.

Here is our episode synopsis:

On this episode, we give a preview of where Bayern Munich and Hertha Berlin are respectively at this point in the season and how the two teams will match-up on the pitch. As always, the key for Bayern Munich is who Hansi Flick rolls out in his XI and how those players meld on the pitch. As for Hertha Berlin, well, this week might not help the rut that they have been in. Stay tuned, though for Pine Tree Garden’s FC Bayern fan song, “Münchens Liebe, Mein Verein.”
