It has been widely-assumed that Bayern Munich defender David Alaba will move to Real Madrid in the offseason.
According to a report from Sport Bild (print edition), the talks between Alaba’s camp and Los Blancos might not be as advanced as was reported last month. In fact, Alaba might now be looking toward England to find a club that can meet his steep financial demands.
Chelsea, who seems to be linked with everyone from the Bundesliga these days, is among the clubs that could be a destination for Alaba:

Sport Bild also indicated that FC Barcelona could still be an option for Alaba given the relationship between the Austrian’s agent Pini Zahavi and rumored Barca presidential candidate Joan Laporta, but that would seem like a stretch considering the club’s financial distress.
Aside of Chelsea, Liverpool has been rumored to be interested in Alaba, but it remains to be seen if Jürgen Klopp’s club will submit a formal — and lucrative — offer to the Austrian.
