Per a release from FCBayern.com, Bayern Munich has signed six of its U-19 players to contract extensions.

Younes Aitamer, Leon Fust, Frans Krätzig, Nemanja Motika, and Nick Salihamidžić were all signed through the 2022/2023, while Luca Denk extended a year longer through the 2023/2024 season.

Bayern Munich sporting director Jochen Sauer was happy to keep that much young talent on campus for an extended period.

“Younes, Leon, Frans, Nemanja, Nick and Luca have all been playing for the youth teams at the FC Bayern Campus for several years. We are very pleased that we were able to convince everyone that they can continue their development here in a familiar environment with the prospect of being able to play third division football in our U23 team,” said campus director Jochen Sauer.

The moves should solidify the talent base at the U-19 level and potentially Bayern Munich II. Given how many injuries the club has experiences across its top two levels for men, having some familiar faces locked up long term should be an immense help.
