Bayern Munich could get a surprise return to the lineup against FC Köln on Saturday.
Per a report from Tz reporter Manuel Bonke, Thomas Müller could return to the Bayern Munich roster ahead of schedule and be ready to face the Billy Goats in tomorrow’s Bundesliga match.
Müller, who has been working his way back into shape and into form after positive test for COVID-19, would assuredly be welcomed back with open arms:
Blitz-Comeback von Thomas #Müller nicht ausgeschlossen! Es ist gut möglich, dass Müller nach seiner überstandenen Corona-Erkrankung bei #FCBKOE bereits wieder im #FCBayern-Kader stehen wird. Auch Serge #Gnabry ist wieder eine Option.

Flash comeback by Thomas #Müller not excluded! It is quite possible that Müller after his corona illness #FCBKOE is already back in #FCBayern. Serge #Gnabry too is again an option.
Hansi Flick has a press conference shortly and could give a definitive answer on the subject. Should Müller return it is unlikely that he would already be in line for a starting role, but given the importance of the Raumdeuter to Bayern Munich’s lineup, nothing should be considered out of the realm of possibility.
Bonke also stated that Serge Gnabry could also be an option for Flick after missing time with a thigh injury.
