Bayern Munich winger Serge Gnabry has been out for the better part of February. He injured his thigh in the Club World Cup final, and when he returned to Munich, it turned out that he’ll be out for a couple of weeks. Today, the player made a significant step forward on his comeback.

This is very good news, as it means that the winger is much closer to a comeback. The precise date of a return to the pitch is yet unknown, but he will most probably still miss Bayern’s Bundesliga match against FC Köln this weekend.
Serge Gnabry’s return will immensely benefit Bayern’s offense, as there are no back-ups for Leroy Sane and Kingsley Coman, with Douglas Costa being sidelined with an injury, and Thomas Müller being quarantined for testing positive for COVID-19.
Hopefully, Serge Gnabry will find top form after his injury, since he has had an uninspiring season so far. He had a lot of mixed performances, but hopefully we still have to see the best from him this season.
