The young Bayern Munich midfielder, Jamal Musiala, had a wonderful couple of days. First, he scored his first Champions League goal and then later officially decided that he will play for the German national team.
Now, the soon-to-be 18-year-old is just about set to sign his first professional contract.
Bayern Munich sporting director Hasan Salihamidžić planned on Musiala signing the contract on his 18th birthday, which is in two days, but the latest reports are suggesting that the initial contract extension date will be prolonged for a couple of more days:
Sky sources: The new contract for @JamalMusiala until 2026 is almost ready - only last details are missing. Initially the plan was to sign on his birthday (Friday), but it could be delayed to next week ✅ #TransferUpdate @Sky_Marc pic.twitter.com/knhgOyx34S

The most important thing, as Sky reports, is that the deal is going to happen, sooner or later. The good thing is that both parties are pleased with the conditions and that we will see Musiala wearing Bayern Munich shirts for the foreseeable future.
At the age of 17, Musiala is one of the brightest talents that Bayern’s youth academy managed to produce. And also shows how good Bayern’s scouting network really is.
