The news of Corentin Tolisso’s injury hit Bayern Munich hard, but the Bavarians were not the only squad that will be missing the 26-year-old Frenchman.
France manager Didier Deschamps also lamented Tolisso’s unfortunate injury, but would not speculate on exactly how much time the midfielder would miss or if it would affect Tolisso’s status for the Euro 2020 competition.
“Corentin’s injury saddens me, says Didier Deschamps told the France Football Federation website. “There is never a good time to get injured. It is still too early to say definitively on the duration of his unavailability. What I am sure, knowing his great strength of character, we will see him at his best. I am sure that he will do everything to.”
For Tolisso, the injury will definitely cause him to miss the upcoming international break in March, but it is hard to tell if the expected three month recovery period would for him to miss the Euros.
