After Bayern Munich center-back Jerome Boateng scored his first goal of the season on Saturday against Hoffenheim, the veteran defender was in quite a good mood.
Boateng’s teammate Thomas Müller was also jovial and the 2014 World Cup-winning duo engaged in a little tomfoolery after the game on Instagram:
Müller who referred to Boateng as “Kaiser” in the post, gave his buddy some support and acknowledged his goal-scoring header (courtesy of Tz).
Boateng, perhaps feeling a little cheeky, responded on social media:
I feel honored. It is a pleasure to play with Müller for so many years. Three more goals this season and I’ll visit you to feed your horses and chickens.
Müller, of course, is always on social media with pictures of the animals on his estate, which include a couple of dogs, some horses, and apparently a few chickens. Müller responded in kind and took Boateng up on the offer:
All right — habemus deal.
There you have it...with just three more goals, Boateng will be hitting Müller up for a little farm work.
