Bayern Munich star Thomas Müller’s bout with COVID-19 has had many fans concerned for the player. Rest easy though, the 31-year-old is in high spirits and is feeling pretty good about things.
“I’m healthy again and I feel good,” Müller said as part of his message to fans on Instagram.
In typical Müller fashion, the 2014 World Cup winner was at ease in addressing the fans and thanked everyone for the support that they have given him as he dealt with the effects of the coronavirus.
Per Abendzeitung, Müller also said, “there’s nothing really exciting to tell” and that he will have to “be a little careful before it goes in the direction of harder training.”
So while he might be feeling a lot better, Müller is rightfully taking a cautious approach to his return.
The complete Instagram post is below (in German) and as you will see, Müller’s hair is fantastic:
Just seeing Müller being able to address fans is a step in the right direction. Like we have seen many times already, COVID-19 can affect each person differently and it appears that Müller is on the lucky side of the equation.
Müller’s teammate Benjamin Pavard tested positive for COVID-19 earlier in the week, while Leon Goretzka and Javi Martinez finally look to be fully over their own dealings with the coronavirus.
