Bayern Munich is still looking to add to their midfield and recently made contact for Inter Milan product, Lucien Agoumé. The French midfielder is currently on a one-year loan at Spezia, ending this summer.

Agoumé is a central or defensive midfielder, with well-rounded assets to his game. The 19-year-old has featured just nine times for Spezia Calcio in the Serie A this season and has only played 811 minutes across all competitions this season. However, this young talent has major potential and was included in last year’s list of 100 Golden Boy nominees.

Inter, like many other clubs this season, is facing financial problems and are open to selling their assets. Reports say that the club could seriously consider selling the French prospect if they receive a ‘significant offer’ from an approaching team. Among the list of those interested, are Marseille, Lyon as well as Villarreal.

Christian Falk confirmed this news this morning and there seems to be real interest from the Bavarians. With such little playtime in a top-flight division to his name, it will be interesting to see what Agoumé can sell for in this market. The midfielder spent significant time playing for the French international team’s youth teams, and Agoumé would be a long-term investment for the German champions. With the recent signing of Dayot Upamecano, it would be great for Die Roten to pick up some more young talent and continue their investment in the future.
