Bayern Munich drawn against Kazygurt in UEFA Women’s Champions League Round of 16

Bayern Munich have been drawn against BIIK Kazygurt in the Round of 16 of the 2020/21 UEFA Women’s Champions League. This is the second year in a row that the Bavarians have faced the Kazakh club at this stage of the competition. Last year, Bayern won the two-legged tie 7-0.

“With the conditions and circumstances it won’t be an easy away game,” head coach Jens Scheuer said. “But now the focus is on looking forward to the round of 16 and we want to overcome this hurdle.”

Fellow Bundesliga club Wolfsburg will be heading to Lillestrøm to take on LSK Kvinner. Lyon, winners of the last five Women’s Champions Leagues, will take on Danish giants Brøndby.

The first legs of the Round of 16 will take place on March 3 or 4. The second legs will be on March 10 or 11.
