According to a report from Bild (behind the Bild+ paywall), Bayern Munich defender David Alaba is set to reveal where he will spend the next phase of his career tomorrow.

The timing would seem to work as Bayern Munich played earlier today and there will be many interested fans waiting to see where Alaba will land.

Per Bild, Alaba would prefer a move to to Real Madrid, but the Austrian could actually get a better financial deal from clubs in the Premier League. Alaba is said to have offers from Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester City.

While not mentioned in the report, Juventus and Paris-Saint Germain were both interested in Alaba initially, but appear to have fallen off of the player’s radar.

The suspense will certainly be great for fans who have watched Alaba develop from an academy prospect into a world-class, two-time treble-winner. There is no doubt, however, that wherever he goes, Alaba is likely to take a big piece of Bayern Munich with him.

Update 7:55PM EST

According to Sport1 reporter Florian Plettenberg, Alaba will only be announcing that he is leaving and not his actual destination...which would make that press conference completely useless.

At this point, Alaba saying he’s leaving would not

be news to anybody:

As stated above, Plettenberg’s sources also have Real Madrid listed as a the leader in the clubhouse.
