The list of internationals during this break for Bayern Munich is long, and it would be even longer if not for COVID and injuries.

Training at Säbaner Straße is going to be a little light over the next few weeks for Bayern Munich Frauen, as the list of players called up to their national teams have been released over the last week. A total of 13 players will be competing in international games during the upcoming women’s international break.

The most players, of course, will be joining up with Martina Voss-Tecklenburg’s Germany side with eight total. Attacking stars Klara Bühl, Linda Dallmann, Sydney Lohmann, Lina Magull, and Lea Schüller will be joined by defensive rock Marina Hegering and goalkeeper extraordinaire Laura Benkarth.

Germany will face Belgium in Aachen on February 21 and the Netherlands in Venlo on February 24.

Over in Malta, the hosts will be joined by Sweden and Austria for a series of matches. Bayern are represented on Sweden by Hanna Glas and Amanda Ilestedt and on Austria by Carina Wenninger and Sarah Zadrazil.

Lineth Beerensteyn will be Bayern’s lone call-up for the Netherlands. They will face Belgium on February 18 and Germany on February 24.
