After much speculation, Bayern Munich made its loan of FC Dallas youngster Justin Che official this morning.
Che, a 17-year-old defender, was able to accept a loan assignment because he holds a German passport. Che is known mostly as a center-back, but can also play right-back. The youngster could have an opportunity to play both positions with Bayern Munich.
“With Chris Richards, we already had excellent experiences with a talent from our partner club,” said campus director Jochen Sauer. “Justin is a young central defender with a lot of potential, as he recently showed in the trial training. We are planning him in our U-19 squad first. Justin will also get the opportunity to participate in training with the Amateurs (Bayern Munich II) to prove himself. We are very excited to see how he develops over the next few months,” said campus director Jochen Sauer.
Once again, the reference to Richards shows that Bayern Munich is happy with the Alabama-native and has also given the club more reasons to trust its United States-based partner, FC Dallas.
