Vent here: ESPN owes all Bayern Munich, Mainz 05, and Bundesliga fans an apology

That was awful.

For any Bayern Munich or Mainz fans trying to watch the game on ESPN+, the match was nothing short of frustrating.

Scrambled lines, multiple error messages, and a drought where the feed was out for the majority of the second half left fans feeling unfulfilled.

While the game was not exactly exciting, the commentary on social media surely was. No one...and I mean...no one was happy about the situation.

We did get to see some nice first half work from Mainz 05, while Bayern Munich shook off the cobwebs from a busy week. And there was the brief glimpse of Kingsley Coman’s goal, but we missed Jamal Musiala’s game winner and a lot of other things.

It could have been worse I guess, but ESPN’s inability to fix the issue in a timely manner was incredibly lame.

If you have any thoughts on ESPN, its technical difficulties, and how frustrated you were, put them down in the comments below.
