After Bayern Munich beatdown, Frenkie de Jong, Marc-André ter Stegen under fire at FC Barcelona

The Spanish media has identified who it wants out.

Things are certainly not going to be easy at FC Barcelona after the club was bounced from the Champions League by Bayern Munich.

In particular, the Spanish media has put both Frenkie de Jong and Marc-André ter Stegen in their crosshairs per Sport Bild:

Spanish outlet “Sport” quickly picked a scapegoat: “Ter Stegen has become an insecure and unreliable goalkeeper,” says the follow-up report, which also attacks midfielder Frenkie de Jong (24): “An irrelevant midfielder!” And further “They should be pillars of the future, but when the hard present came in, they collapsed.”

But wait...there’s more unraveling:

“Marca” writes that the goalkeeper seemed “insecure” from the first minute and at the same time referred to a number of negative comments from Barça supporters in the social networks, who no longer see solid support in Ter Stegen.

There was always going to be scapegoating after that loss. It seems that Ter Stegen, De Jong, and Sergino Dest, however, are carrying most of that weight as they have — allegedlybeen put up for sale.
