Bayern Munich youth product Gabriel Vidović has gotten off to a blazing start in the Regionalliga. Deemed as the next Jamal Musiala, the 17-year old hotshot already has 12 goals and 7 assists to his name this season.
Most recently against TSV Aubstadt, the Croatian got on the scoresheet for the sixth time in a row. Before that match, he had opened the lead for his team on three consecutive occasions.
The young attacking-midfielder looks destined to follow in Musiala’s footsteps, which is why Bayern Munich need to quickly tie him down to a new contract.
Gabriel Vidovic has this incredibly rare ability to always manage to get a shot away, no matter how tight the space is and how many opponents are around him.

As far as Die Roten’s transfer market strategy goes, club officials have made it clear on numerous occasions that they aren’t planning on spending big on new acquisitions. Instead, they have shifted their focus on promoting youth players from the club academy. So far, youngsters Jamal Musiala and Josip Stanišić have received plenty of opportunities to showcase their potential. After establishing a place among the superstars of the first team, both players were duly rewarded with professional contracts, this year.
While no names were mentioned, Sport1 claims that several “top clubs” are vying for Vidović in the upcoming winter break. Despite the interest, Vidović feels at home in Munich and isn’t thinking about switching clubs.
It’s now Bayern Munich’s turn to make a move and secure the signature of another promising player.
