Bayern Munich star Robert Lewandowski is in a league of his own these days.
The Polish striker is scoring at a crazy pace (again) and looks every bit the dominant force that Bundesliga fans have been raving about for years.
Lewandowski, though, has heard the rumors. Specifically, the Poland international has heard that Bayern Munich could potentially be kicking the tires on a potential move for Borussia Dortmund phenom Erling Haaland.
Lewandowski knows Haaland is an immense talent and even acknowledged that the youngster should draw interest from a lot of clubs. The Polish Hitman, however, is only concerned about himself — and not whether or not the Bavarians want to bring in the Norwegian star.
“I’m Lewandowski and I’m only looking at myself. He’s a young player, of course, but I’m 12 years older,” said Lewandowski (as captured by Twitter account @iMiaSanMia) after Bayern Munich stomped Benfica 5-2 in the Champions League. “I’m at another point in life than he is. When you score many goals, it’s clear that many teams are interested. For me, only my performances count.”
