In a recent interview with Sport Bild, Bayern Munich midfielder Leon Goretzka touted the talent of teammates Robert Lewandowski and Jamal Musiala.

Goretzka, a physical marvel in his own right, is astounded at how Lewandowski seems to have taking the aging process and kicked it a few years into the future.

“He’s still moving like a person in his mid 20s. For me there’s no better striker in the world, and I don’t see that changing any time soon,” Goretzka said. “He can still lead our attack for a long time.”

On the other end of the age spectrum is Musiala, who has amazed Goretzka with his talent. Still, the veteran midfielder knows the squad needs to keep the phenom grounded.

“It’s fun seeing Jamal every day. From the very first training, we said, ‘a great talent is coming from our academy who will bring something to the team’,” Goretzka said. “One of our biggest tasks will be to keep him down to earth. He loves playing football and we benefit from him.”
