Bayern Munich star Robert Lewandowski was a major force in helping his squad notch a 5-2 victory over Union Berlin on Saturday.

The Polish Hitman had a brace, but walked way from the match more happy with his team’s resilience than either of his two impressive goals.

“We showed from the first minute that we’re here to win. The first goal was important. It’s never easy to play away at Union,” Lewandowski said (as captured by FCBayern.com). “It’s always a fervent atmosphere. We also made mistakes, but still leave with three points. Now we can turn out focus to Tuesday.”

One of the other offensive heroes for the Bavarians was Kingsley Coman, who had a highlight reel goal in the second to help keep Union Berlin at a safe distance.

“I feel very good, we played well. It was very important after the Gladbach game to perform like this,” Coman said.
