For Bayern Munich fans hoping to land Red Bull Salzburg star and Germany international Karim Adeyemi, this is not good news.

According to a report from Sport1, Borussia Dortmund is in the driver’s seat over the likes of Bayern Munich, RB Leipzig, Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain, FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, and Inter Milan for Adeyemi:

According to SPORT1 information, BVB has the best chances in the poker for the 19-year-old national player from Red Bull Salzburg compared to competitors such as FC Bayern. During the week there were more talks with Adeyemi’s side reports Sky and sporting director Michael Zorc said before the Bundesliga game against 1. FC Köln on Saturday.

“Basically, we don’t have the strategy of only hiring top talent, we also need balance. We have had good experiences over the past few years,” said Zorc. “It’s no secret that Adeyemi is a good player.”

But the sports director didn’t let himself get carried away.

Salzburg’s sports director Christoph Freund had recently made it clear to Sky Austria that Adeyemi will definitely stay in Austria until the summer. “That is clearly the plan in his head and also in ours.”

Dortmund represents a great opportunity for Adeyemi. With Erling Haaland certain to leave during the summer, BVB will be looking to bolster its corps of forwards.
