With an international break coming up, Bayern Munich only need a win against Eintracht Frankfurt to command a dominant position in the table. Julian Nagelsmann has his team on a bit of a winning run at the moment, and he’ll want to keep it going for as long as possible.
There are a few injuries, but the major absentee will be Benjamin Pavard, who got a red card against Greuther Furth and is therefore suspended for this match. It’s a bad match to lose your starting right-back, given that Frankfurt’s most lethal player is Filip Kostic, who plays on their left. Whoever starts in Pavard’s place faces a trial by fire — and could claim the right-back spot if he does well.
