According to Sport1 (soon to be Sky) journalist Florian Plettenberg, the agents for Red Bull Salzburg star Karim Adeyemi visited Inter Milan earlier today.
Adyemi has been linked to Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, Paris-Saint Germain, FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Liverpool, but things between Adeyemi and Inter Milan seem to be getting at least little more serious than previously thought:
Update #Adeyemi: The journey of his agent continues. Today he has visited the bosses of @Inter in their offices. One more meeting with #FCBayern will take place soon. Probably with Nagelsmann. @SPORT1 #InterMilan— Florian Plettenberg (@Plettigoal) October 28, 2021
As noted within Plettenberg’s tweet, Adeyemi’s representatives will meet with Bayern Munich again — this time with manager Julian Nagelsmann, who should be able to articulate where he sees Adeyemi fitting into the Bayern Munch roster.
There have been reports that Bayern Munich views Adeyemi as a winger and a potential replacement for Kingsley Coman, should the Frenchman move on. Even if that happens, however, there still might not be enough playing time to lure the Germany international to Munich. Clubs like Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, and Inter Milan could assuredly offer Adeyemi a more clear path to playing time than Bayern Munich.
Still, the Bavarians are one of the prime contenders given their status in Europe.
