According to a report from Sport Bild (as captured by Twitter account @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich sporting director Hasan “Brazzo” Salihamidzic has been trying —unsuccessfully — to unload a trio of bench players from his roster.
Those efforts, however, have not yielded any results.
Salihamidzic has been seeking a solution for midfielders Michael Cuisance and Marc Roca, along with sparsely used right-back Bouna Sarr. Ideally, Bayern Munich wanted the threesome off of the payroll last summer, but the Bavarians — allegedly — wanted too much in return for Roca and Cuisance, while Sarr said, “Hell no! I won’t go!” as he refuses to leave the club.
Make no mistake, however, Sarr’s desire to stay does not mean he is fulfilling any childhood dream. Instead, he’s filling up his bank account with a €4 million salary that no other club on Earth would pay him.
While Sarr can sit back and collect fat stacks, Cuisance and Roca were last seen doing sprint work instead of practicing with the team. So, yeah, maybe lower the asking price on a couple of guys who can’t even join the rest of the squad for training, eh?
Anyway, SPOX is reporting that Roca could leave via loan or sale as soon as this winter, while the club is still hunting a partner to make a deal with for Cuisance.
