Despite the recent visit by his representatives to Säbener Straße, rumored Bayern Munich transfer target Karim Adeyemi probably will not be making an official move until next summer.

Red Bull Salzburg sporting director Christoph Freund insisted the Germany international that Adeyemi will “stay with Red Bull Salzburg” — at least for the immediate future:

Adeyemi’s father and advisor have even been to Säbener Straße to talk to FC Bayern. Most recently, various media even speculated about a transfer in the winter transfer period. According to Sky, however, a winter transfer was never a serious option:

In an interview with Sky, Salzburg’s sporting director Christoph Freund has now put a stop to this in no uncertain terms: “Karim will finish the season with us. That is clearly the plan in his head and also in ours.”

Adeyemi has been closely linked to both Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund, with BVB considered the leader in the clubhouse because of the club’s ability to offer more playing time to the youngster. RB Leipzig, Liverpool, and FC Barcelona are also considered to be in the mix.
