Bayern Munich star Robert Lewandowski knew his squad’s Bundesliga match against Hoffenheim was going to be fun.

With a big crowd on hard for the first time in what feels like forever at the Allianz Arena, Bayern Munich supporters showed up en masse to help power the club to a 4-0 victory.

“It was a great moment to play with so many fans back in the stadium again. We scored four goals and everyone had a lot of fun. Sometimes it’s not so easy after a Champions League game, but we have a great squad, even the guys off the bench,” Lewandowski said (as captured by FCBayern.com).

Sporting director Hasan “Brazzo” Salihamidzic echoed Lewandowski’s sentiment.

“When our fans are here, it’s a completely different feeling. We were very happy about that. For the players, of course, it also serves as huge motivation. We’re in very good physical condition. The boys have gained a lot of confidence. We have a very good team with a lot of quality,” Salihamidzic said. “The coaches have done a very good job managing the busy schedule and workload. We want to continue like this and try and play the next games as well as we have done the last few.”

The Polish Hitman probably feels like he could have easily scored three or four goals, but Lady Luck was not on Lewandowski’s side against Hoffenheim. The striker’s lone goal, however, was abut as epic as you will see this weekend.

“I’m very happy, it was a nice goal, I can just enjoy that,” Lewandowski said.
