So far, so good for Bayern Munich, but additional testing is going on.

According to SPOX and Goal journalist Kerry Hau, Bayern Munich’s unvaccinated players did not test positive for COVID-19. Additional tests, however, are going on, but as of now, the club is not expected to place any additional players into quarantine.

When Julian Nagelsmann tested positive for the coronavirus on Thursday, many thoughts immediately went to a potential outbreak within the locker room. Per Hau, though, it appears that Bayern Munich has dodged that bullet:

So far, no further corona cases at #FCBayern . The unvaccinated players tested negative, so they do not have to be quarantined and are now ready for the home game against Hoffenheim. But there are still more tests to be done. #FCBTSG

The situation will absolutely be monitored closely by Bayern Munich officials, who have been vigilant throughout the global pandemic. While the Bayern Munich players have followed rules for the most part, there have been isolated instances where players have had to be quarantined.

Hopefully, Nagelsmann is the only case and the Bavarians have avoided a potential horrible scenario.
