Hansi Flick wants German clubs to unite for national team success

Hansi Flick knows it will take a group effort for Germany to return to World Cup glory.

Former Bayern Munich manager Hansi Flick and current German national team boss Hansi Flick is seeking the support of all clubs in Deutschland to help his squad achieve World Cup success.

“I want us to act together and be there for one another, the association for the clubs and vice versa,” Flick told kicker. “This way of thinking — here the club and there the association — we want to break open together. We need an even better interaction, an even more constructive cooperation.”

Flick has already done a fantastic job in making improvements to the squad’s roster and the results have been excellent on the pitch. With further communication and stronger relationships, Flick hopes to make German clubs and the national team a unified entity with the goal of developing talent to power Die Mannschaft for years to come.

It sounds easy enough on the surface, but Flick knows he will have his work cut out for him in trying to get all of those egos aligned.
