The positive test on Julian Nagelsmann could have some fallout on the roster.

According to a report from Bild, Bayern Munich manager Julian Nagelsmann’s positive COVID-19 test result could potentially create some havoc on the roster.

Per Bild’s story, five Bayern Munich players are not vaccinated. While it would not be prudent to speculate who those players are, the unvaccinated group could be in jeopardy of missing time should they also test positive.

Nagelsmann, who is vaccinated, missed Wednesday’s Champions League tilt against Benfica with a sickness, which Bayern Munich confirmed was a positive test result for the coronavirus. As of now, Bayern Munich is lucky to have great depth on its roster. Should any or all of those unvaccinated players test positive — and suffer from effects of the virus — that strength could be nullified.

How this situation evolves — if at all — will be interesting to follow. With the squad playing so well, an outbreak in the locker room could be disastrous on many levels.
