Bayern Munich defender Lucas Hernandez is always hungry for more victories

There is no extra weight on Bayern Munich defender Lucas Hernandez, but like his club teammates, the Frenchman is always hungry for more...wins.

Hernandez was recently asked about how Bayern Munich can stay motivated after 10 consecutive Bundesliga titles and the 2018 World Cup winner said the squad has an incredible mentality that would not allow them to suffer through a lull.

“It’s the level of motivation. All of the players are incredibly motivated. We all want to win titles, that’s our objective and I think you can see that. We’re hungry - be it in the Bundesliga or in the Champions League,” Hernandez told Bundesliga.com. “You saw that against Barcelona that we were hungry. We’re determined to go all the way in every competition. And that’s why we go into every single match with the motivation to win.”

Teaming with Niklas Süle and Dayot Upamecano on defense, Hernandez and his defensive mates have been a major reason for the Bavarians to maintain their confidence so far this season.
