According to a report from SkySport.de, both Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are eyeing a move for Fiorentina striker and Serbia international Dusan Vlahovic.
Each club has at least a somewhat uncertain future at striker. For Bayern Munich, Robert Lewandowski has a contract expiring in 2023 and the striker has been unsuccessful in getting the Bavarians to negotiate a new deal to this point. Chelsea FC, Liverpool, Real Madrid, and Paris Saint-Germain are among the clubs reportedly interested in Lewandowski.
As for Borussia Dortmund, Erling Haaland has been linked to Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Chelsea, PSG, Real Madrid, Manchester City, Manchester United, Juventus, and FC Barcelona. Every major club wants the Norwegian phenom, who will be available for a €75 million release clause fee (plus a bunch of other tertiary expenses, apparently).
Vlahovic is enjoying a stellar campaign with the Serie A side. Through nine games across all competition, Vlahovic has six goals and one assist. Vlahovic’s contract also runs through 2023, but the Serb has reportedly rejected a contract extension. Given that, Fiorentina will be looking to sell the striker at some point before next season to try and gain some return on its investment.
Vlahovic is valued at €50 million by Transfermarket.
