Days after the initial report that Bayern Munich were targeting FC Barcelona players due to the current upheaval at the club, Sport is back with an addendum to the report. Now, we know the four players that Bayern are reportedly looking at from the Catalan club.
The four players are all people that Bayern have been linked with in the past (and recent past, at that): Marc-André ter Stegen, Pedri, Frenkie de Jong, and Sergiño Dest.
As Ineednoname said in the article about the initial report:
Honestly, looking at it from a front office perspective, it would be silly to not at least try and sign someone from an obviously sinking ship. Brazzo and Kahn wouldn’t have to do much thinking to figure out where these players fit — it would be easy to convert someone from Barca’s playstyle into a Bayern one, especially with Nagelsmann around to facilitate the transition.
Of course, as to Bayern’s current need for those players, that is going to vary depending on who you ask...
