With only one more game left in this international break, Germany have the chance to seal qualification to the next edition of the FIFA World Cup if they beat North Macedonia and the 3rd placed team in the group loses their fixture. However, this might be easier said than done, since the Macedonians have already beaten the Germans once before, and that was the German home game to boot.
The difference is that Germany have a new coach now, and Hansi Flick is made of sterner stuff than his predecessor. His national team career has been a string of victories thus far, but the former Bayern Munich coach almost stumbled against Romania and needed to be saved by a late goal from Thomas Muller. Will the North Macedonians manage to get one over on the Germans yet again?
