Bayern Munich’s new coach, Julian Nagelsmann, had a good start at his new club. He has managed to impress the audience and Bayern’s front office. He tuned the defense and helped Leroy Sane find his form again.

As a born Bavarian and Bayern Munich fan from an early age, Julian wants to represent the club’s values wherever he goes. Now, he also switched his sponsors and went from Nike and joined the German clothing giant — Adidas.

As reported by Sport Bild (via Sport1), the Bavarian coach bought himself out of the contract with the American company. Nagelsmann paid around $150,000 out of his pocket since he had one year left in his contract.

Oliver Brügger, Adidas spokesperson welcomed Nagelsman to Adidas, saying: “We are delighted to welcome Julian Nagelsmann to the Adidas family. He is a very ambitious, young coach who will make FC Bayern Munich even stronger.”

The news of Nagelsman switching to Adidas was well received by Bayern’s front office since Adidas is a long-time sponsor and a shareholder.
