It seems as though every week Bayern Munich and Hansi Flick seem to break another record. Ahead of Match Day 15, Flick has the opportunity not to break a record, but to match a record set by Pep Guardiola himself. Flick can reach 100 points in his first 39 games in charge of Die Roten with a win at Borussia Mönchengladbach necessary to hit the goal.
Guardiola is the only Bayern manager to accomplish this feat until now. The current Manchester City boss accomplished so when he earned an outstanding 101 points from his first 39 games with the Bavarian giants.
Flick is well aware of the challenge he faces against Gladbach, and is preparing the team accordingly.
“We need a different attitude from the start. We have to show what we are capable of. The team have this mentality. Gladbach have high individual quality and great tempo,” Flick said on Thursday in a pre-match news conference.

Time will tell if Bayern Munich’s red hot form on Friday nights will continue. With their last two Friday matches being an 8-0 win season opener over Schalke, and the infamous 8-2 thrashing of FC Barcelona.
Since the start of the 2011/2012 season, Bayern have lost a staggering seven times to Gladbach. Despite Gladbach sitting at seventh in the table heading into the match, a win on Friday is no sure thing. Based on recent matches between the two teams, this could be a game to remember, hopefully for all the right reasons.
