Per a report from Sky Sport, Bayern Munich has already negotiated a professional contract for Jamal Musiala and the 17-year-old is set to ink the deal on his birthday in late February.

After a highly-impressive start to this campaign, it appears that the Bavarians are ready to lock down the midfielder through the 2024/2025 season:

Because according to Sky Info, the top talent will extend his contract in Munich, which runs until 2022, ahead of time to 2025.

“Our information is that everything has been negotiated,” explains Sky reporter and transfer expert Max Bielefeld on “Transfer Update — the Show.” And further: “He should sign this on his birthday at the end of February (editor’s note: February 26th). There are still a few issues between everyone involved, but we are optimistic that all of this will be resolved by the end of February and that he can sign his new contract with the record champions.”

This report comes after much speculation that Bayern Munch would likely be looking to keep Musiala for an extended period.

The immediate conversation will now shift to Musiala’s international commitment. The youngster has not yet declared if he intends to play for England or Germany at the senior-level. Surely, both countries want the young talent and it remains to be seen if a new deal with Bayern Munich will influence his decision.
