Bayern Munich advanced to the Quarterfinals of the 2020/21 DFB Pokal Frauen after traveling to Hamburg and absolutely destroying Walddörfer SV 13-0. The Regionalliga side gave their best effort on the day, but they were just outclassed in every facet of the game by the German giants.

“Thirteen goals speak for themselves! We can be very happy with the game,” Sara Zadrazil said. We played our game with great concentration from the first to the last minute. You could see that we implemented the training content well. It was important to us that we create good opportunities and use them. We look forward to the next round. “

It was an onslaught by the Bavarians from the opening whistle. The score was 4-0 at the half hour mark, and Bayern were up 8-0 when the halftime whistle blew. Jens Scheuer had the ladies keep their front foot forward in the second half, and they knocked in five more goals to end the day at 13-0.

Bayern XI: Grohs - Glas, Boye (46. Demann), Hegering, Simon - Zadrazil (46. Dallmann) - Lohmann (46. Rudelić), Magull (76. Zehnder) - Bühl (67. Pollak), Schüller, Corley

Here’s a full list of scorers: Lea Schüller (5 goals!), Gia Corley (2 goals), Lina Magull, Sydney Lohamnn, Marina Hegering, Klara Bühl, Linda Dallmann, Julia Pollak.

The Bavarians will take on Hoffenheim in the Quarterfinals of the DFB Pokal. The match will take place on March 20 or 21. However, the winter break is officially over for Bayern as they return to action in the Frauen Bundesliga next week. On Sunday February 7, Bayern will face Meppen.
