Things have looked a little better so far for Bayern Munich.
After being knocked out of the DFB-Pokal by Holstein Kiel and losing to Borussia Mönchengladbach earlier this month, Bayern pulled out back-to-back clean sheets against Bavarian rivals Augsburg and stuttering Schalke 04. Now, they look set to close out the month of January with a win over 11th place TSG Hoffenheim.
We look more in-depth at our opponents in our latest episode of Der Ausblick:
On this episode, we take a look at TSG 1899 Hoffenheim who are currently 11th in the Bundesliga with a 6-4-8 record and 22 points. Today, Jake & Tom take a more in-depth look at our opponents from Sinsheim. They’re not scoring many goals outside of their Croatian sensation Andrej Kramaric which has led them to have the 9th worst goal scoring total in the league. Their defense has been anchored by players like Kevin Vogt, but he recently joined a long list of injuries which could put their hopes for points in jeopardy. However, midfielders such as Christoph Baumgartner could be key difference makers as Hoffenheim looks to control the midfield against the Bavarians once again.
