Bayern and PSG battling for Ramos? (Tz)
Tz captured a Spanish media report that Bayern Munich is kicking the tires on Real Madrid center-back Sergio Ramos. In an article discussing the potential departure of both David Alaba and Jerome Boateng, Tz indicated that RB Leipzig’s Dayot Upamecano is one potential replacement, but also that the Bavarians could pursue Ramos as well — only with his salary being a potential roadblock:
FC Bayern is facing an upheaval in its defense. Therefore, the bosses are already planning the transfer summer and may have found in Spain at Real Madrid. Therefore, it is already clear: FC Bayern’s central defense will get a new face next season — at least. FC Bayern is likely to lose Alaba on a transfer to Real Madrid. Do Brazzo & Co. now strike back and grab Sergio Ramos in return? The captain of the Royals is available for free in the summer. According to the Spanish TV talk show El Chiringuito, Bayern bosses have already inquired with Ramos’ compatriots Javi Martinez and Marc Roca about the Madrilenian defensive star.
Ramos is currently haggling with Real Madrid over a new contract. The 34-year-old wants to remain the best earner and demands twelve million euros net. This could prove difficult in the case of a transfer of Alaba, who did not agree with FC Bayern on the salary. As reported by Marca, Ramos has rejected an offer of one year, while the World and European champion wants two years. In view of these demands, however, a transfer of Ramos to Munich should be unlikely. Tz knows: The record champion would not even dream of matching the salary demands of the Real captain.
Bayern Munich is not alone, however, in wanting Ramos. ESPN captured a report stating that Paris Saint-Germain is also making a push for the Real Madrid legend. And for PSG, Ramos’ salary almost certainly will not be an issue:
Paris Saint-Germain have offered Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos a three-year deal worth €15 million a season, according to Onda Cero. Madrid and Ramos currently appear to be in a stand-off over an offer of a new contract, with Los Blancos seemingly unwilling to budge on a two-year-deal that Ramos has deemed unacceptable and PSG are looking to take advantage.
The Parisiens know that Madrid are unlikely to be able to match their three-year offer, particularly when the club is trying to find a way to finance a move for Kylian Mbappe in the next 12-15 months. Madrid’s two-year offer also comes with a 10 percent salary reduction, which could see Ramos choose to leave the club. Ramos and Florentino Perez are yet to have a direct conversation, though, and so far talks between Ramos’ brother Rene, his representative, and the Madrid president have not gone smoothly.

Barca eyeing Bernat? (Transfer Market Web)
Could Juan Bernat be headed to FC Barcelona on a free transfer?
Still recovering from a long-term injury, French left-back Juan Bernat (27), according to Mundo Deportivo, has been targeted by Barcelona FC, ahead of next summer. Playing for PSG since September 2018, former Bayern Munich and Valencia player is likely to leave French giants, after three seasons in, on a free move.
FC Barcelona has a little financial issue ahead of it, so a free transfer of Bernat would seem to be a good fit.
Rudiger accused of bullying and basically being a jerk (SI.com)
After a summer of constant transfer rumors, Antonio Rudiger ended up staying at Chelsea and things have allegedly been ugly behind the scenes:
Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger has reportedly been ‘bullying’ several young stars in the Blues squad. there have been reports by the Telegraph, that Rudiger clashed with captain Cesar Azpilicueta, which the Blues skipper have to calm the German down as he fell down the defensive pecking order. However new information has surfaced from Chelsea insider CarefreeYouth.
Chelsea reportedly wanted to sell Rudiger in the summer however couldn’t find a buyer for the defender. The 27-year-old has from then on been a ‘constant problem’, which has seen him ‘talking to new potential managers’ before Lampard was dismissed on Monday. He has been accused of ‘bullying’ some of the academy players at Chelsea, who starred regularly and flourished under Lampard.
Rudiger could be given a new lease of life at Chelsea under Tuchel due to the German connection and Tuchel wanting him during his time at PSG.
Bayern still keeping tabs on Tuchel? [aka WTF is this nonsense] (Daily Star)
Somehow, despite just being hired by Chelsea, some reports state that Bayern Munich is still keeping an eye on Thomas Tuchel:
French outlet Le 10 Sport claim Barcelona and Bayern Munich are also keeping tabs on Tuchel. Bayern Munich are also believed to be keen despite Hansi Flick leading the side to the top of the Bundesliga table. They also won the Champions League last season, beating Tuchel’s PSG in the final in Lisbon.
Now, I’m sure Bayern Munich is always keeping “tabs” on potential players and managers alike, but barring Hansi Flick experiencing a mental breakdown from dealing with alleged “internal strife”, the 55-year-old manager won’t be going anywhere until he wants to leave.
Zlatan and Lukaku get heated (@ESPNFC)
