The Bavarian Podcast Works Hinrunde Recap with Archie Rhind-Tutt

We sit down with the ESPN matchday reporter to take a look at every team’s form over the first half of the season

Last year, we sat down with another accomplished journalist to discuss Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, and the rest of the Bundesliga teams and their form in the 2019-20 season’s Hinrunde.

We’ve decided to carry on the tradition by bringing on ESPN sideline reporter Archie Rhind-Tutt to offer his opinions and views on how all these teams are doing this time of year.

*Disclaimer: This episode was recorded on January 13th, and many of the team’s positions in the table have changed*

We’re repeating our tradition of analyzing teams at the midway point of the Bundesliga season and this time, we’ve employed ESPN reporter Archie Rhind-Tutt to help us look back at the Hinrunde.
We group some of the teams together (15-18; 10-14; 6-9) before looking at the teams in the top 5 of the table (at the time) of Bayern Munich, RB Leipzig, Bayer Leverkusen, Borussia Dortmund, and 1. FC Union Berlin.
Jake and Archie offer their criticisms, observations, and predictions about what we might see in the Rückrunde this coming year.
