Bayern Munich youngster Angelo Stiller has been highly rated for a while now, with many expecting the youngster to break in to the club's first team at some point. However, this has not happened this season, with Stiller spending virtually all his time at FC Bayern II — except for a few short cameos in non important games for the seniors.
Therefore, in recent times, it has been suggested that Stiller was looking to move on from the Bavarians in order to find high level first team football. Now, his departure from Munich has been confirmed as Hoffenheim have announced the signing of Stiller on a pre contract agreement. He will officially transfer to the club at the start of the summer transfer window.
We look forward to seeing you, Angelo

Angelo #Stiller will arrive in Kraichgau on a free transfer from @FCBayern in the summer. The German U20 international will pull on the #TSG jersey next season and has signed a contract until 30th June 2025. pic.twitter.com/wcSd1fTXJk
Stiller’s departure definitely makes sense for the player. Even in terms of young players, Hansi Flick has an apparent preference for Tiago Dantas in the centre mid role. However, in terms of players already with the senior team, the midfield is one of Bayern’s most packed areas. Even top division established players like Marc Roca and Javi Martinez struggle to get any game time in the heart of the Bayern side, while there are about 6 players in front of Stiller in the pecking order for Bayern’s two holding midfield roles. Simply put, Stiller almost certainly wouldn’t be able to get consistent minutes for Bayern anytime soon ...
We at BFW wish Angelo a good next chapter in his career!
