Bayern Munich edged SC Freiburg 2-1 behind a goals from Robert Lewandowski and Thomas Muller in what was a very entertaining and intense match between two very good teams.
SC Freiburg was game and proved that they are a squad fully ready to contend for a top-four position in the Bundesliga. It is a shame, in fact, that Breisgau-Brasilianer does not have the big budget afforded to other clubs in the Bundesliga. With Christian Streich at the helm and a roster full of hungry players, SC Freiburg have a good foundation in place to make life hell for just about anyone in Germany.
On this episode we cover the following:
-A real sense of urgency and more willingness to play direct from Bayern Munich.
-The wonderful talent of Robert Lewandowski and Thomas Muller.
-Some slight tactical adjustments.
-A much needed victory against a good opponent to help the squad snap out of a slump
