Former Bayern Munich right-back Rafinha is eyeing a move to his favorite league — the Bundesliga! Now, the veteran is interested in a return to Schalke 04, who are getting ready for a ferocious relegation battle.
The transfer rumor was published by Bild, and confirmed by Christian Falk, as he labeled the rumor to be true!
TRUE ✅ Rafinha @R13_official wants to return to Bundesliga and @s04 @BILD_Sport

The Brazilian is currently playing for the Greek side, Olympiakos, and could leave the club free of charge, if the offer from Schalke materializes.
In his long and fruitful career, Rafinha already played for Schalke from 2005 to 2010. He is best known for his time spent at Munich, where he won the treble, back in 2013.
Schalke is looking to rebuild the current squad, as they already brought Sead Kolašinac on loan from Arsenal. Rumor has it that besides Rafinha, Schalke is also interested in the services of the veteran Dutch striker — Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.
It would be interesting to see Rafinha back in the Bundesliga, and playing against his former teammates at Bayern.
