Bad news for Bayern Munich as their new star, Leroy Sane, was injured in the team’s Bundesliga match against Hoffenheim. Per the club’s website, Sane will miss approximately three to four weeks, which means he will miss Bayern Munich’s next two games and also won’t be called up for the national team’s games. What makes things worse is that the injury is in Sane’s right knee, which was operated on in 2019 after his anterior cruciate ligament tear.
In his latest press conference, Hansi Flick had said that the 24-year-old had sustained a capsule injury in his knee, and he is hopeful that Sane will be available after the international break.

After missing nearly the entire 2019/2020 season, Sane’s recent injury to that same knee has many Bayern Munich fans concerned. The question is, how well can his knee endure the numerous matches that the Bavarians will have to play this season?
Hopefully, this is just a minor bump for both the player and the team, since the squad is already thin, especially when it comes to the wing position.
