According to a report from Foot Mercato, Leeds United is very interested in making a move for Bayern Munich midfielder Michaël Cuisance. With Olympique Marseille also reportedly keeping an eye on Cuisance for a loan deal, it seems as if the 21-year-old is drawing some interest as the transfer deadline approaches.
Per Foot Mercato, Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa is a big fan of Cuisance:
According to our information, former OM coach Marcelo Bielsa, who also fell in love with the player, asked his management to look into Michaël Cuisance. Leeds United are strongly considering sending a transfer offer to Bayern in an attempt to snatch the former Mönchengladbach player
Cuisance would seem to be in the reserve mix for midfield playing time with Corentin Tolisso. With Thomas Muller playing in his familiar role behind Robert Lewandowski and Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka manning Hansi Flick’s double-pivot, Cuisance appears to be one of the primary options to spell the incumbent starters. If an opportunity for more playing time came along, however, it could potentially be interesting to Cuisance, who has shown flashes of brilliance at times when on the pitch for the Bavarians.
With Thiago Alcantara’s recent departure for Liverpool and Javi Martinez rumored to be headed out as well, it would seem curious for Bayern Munich to let Cuisance walk at this stage, but crazier things have happened.
