The second Semifinal of the 2020 UEFA Women’s Champions League kicks off Wednesday in an all-French affair. Paris Saint-Germain takes on the holders Olympique Lyon. The defending champions are the favorites in this one, but PSG won’t count themselves out yet.

Lyon squeaked by Bayern Munich in the Quarterfinals, while PSG did the same against Arsenal. However, Lyon has the championship experience on their side, having won the last four UWCLs and the last fourteen French Division 1 Feminine championships.

For the last several years, Lyon has been hands-down the best team in the world, but their struggles against Bayern in the Quarterfinals will have certainly given more confidence to the opposition.

PSG boasts two Germans in their squad with goalkeeper Charlotte Voll and former Bayern midfielder Sara Däbritz, while Lyon has the fantastic Dzsenifer Marozsán.

This could be a fun one. The winner meets Wolfsburg in the Final.
