Flick fields same Bayern Munich lineup in last training session before the UCL final vs PSG

It looks as if Hansi Flick will not change the lineup against PSG tomorrow. That would mean that Benjamin Pavard, Niklas Süle, and Kingsley Coman will start on the bench.

Bayern Munich live-streamed the team’s final training session ahead of the Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain this afternoon. What was clear to see: head coach Hansi Flick used exactly the same lineup that dispatched FC Barcelona and Olympique Lyonnais for his A team. That is a strong indication that he will indeed not change the lineup for tomorrow’s critical game.

Both Benjamin Pavard and Niklas Süle participated in the training session, but they played defense for the B team in the short-field scrimmage at the end of the training session. Kingsley Coman also played on the B team, while Ivan Perisic again lined up at left wing on the A team.

It thus appears that Hansi Flick will not change his winning lineup to move Kimmich into the midfield while returning Pavard to right-back. That would have present him with the dilemma of deciding whether to put Thiago Alcantara or Leon Goretzka on the bench. Anything is possible tomorrow, but as things stand Flick looks disinclined to change a winning formula.
